Playing For Change | Song Around The World “Stand By Me” from Concord Music Group on Vimeo.
Alright so if you don’t know about the Playing For Change group, they travelled around the world recording unknown street musicians and mixing them together. They have an awesome documentary out that contains a bunch of tracks, but this is my personal favorite. Enjoy.

Happy Earth Day everyone. Here is an awesome group doing awesome things in Ethiopia. Help them out.
It can’t be all work with the 5D, so I decided to write Rachel’s name to show her how to light write. This was her attempt…
Which I didn’t think was that bad, until Angel threw this one up
but quickly smoothed everything over with this one…
Good times had by all… Check out more images here.
5D basketball screen test from Nick Jones on Vimeo.
Here are some choice cuts from a recent shoot. All footage is taken with the Canon 5D MKII and is straight out of the camera, no grading. (with the exception of the last shot…)
Yes, we have a new puppy. I can neither confirm nor deny whether the dog’s name is in part due to my loyal fandom to the Chicago Cubs. I can tell you this though, Wrigley is one cute beagle. Check out a few more photos here.

5D Spring from Nick Jones on Vimeo.
Ok this video is self-indulgent at best, I admit that upfront. I was testing some bokeh and lens flare on the 5D last night around sunset and decided to cut something together. It’s not the most interesting video in the world, but if you shoot for a living I think you’ll be pretty impressed with what this camera can do…
Lenses used
Canon USM 28-72mm
Nikon 85mm 1.8
Attention everyone. Give up now. There will never be a better video ever made than the one Spike Jonze just turned out. I say we all turn in our cameras and go get jobs at Denny’s.
