Ok so my wife and I are pretty competitive. We race bikes against each other, duel it out on the tennis courts, try to dominate in Wii Sports, and pretty much anything else that is out there. Recently our rivalry has hit a new high thanks mostly to the board game Heroscape. Here’s some shots from last night’s controversial round…
A gigantic board was assembled… (We had all afternoon, we were iced in here in OK)
A major fight took place between some sort of huge dragon and some dinosaur thing…
Somehow Rachel’s Dino thing killed me in one shot… Not really sure how…
Rachel killed my last Samurai dude and somehow won…
If you’ve never played Heroscape I highly recommend it. It looks pretty geeky, but it’s just like any other strategy game. Maybe it is geeky… Who knows, it’s fun so we don’t care what you think…
S.W.A.T. from Nick Jones on Vimeo.
Last week I was given access to shoot the Edmond, OK S.W.A.T. team during their explosives training. It was one of the coolest moments of my life. Most of my footage will never be seen (for good reason) but they were kind enough to let me put together a little montage for my site.

Awesome use of tilt shift photography. Too bad I only have one friend that shoots tilt shift (I’m looking your way Matt Doane…) Man this video makes me feel like a little kid playing with trucks again…
If you’re not from around Oklahoma you may not realize how awesome these guys really are. Dameon and Gabe are two of the most incredible musicians I’ve ever met. They are unbelievable live, and have been involved at lifechurch.tv for as long as I can remember. All the guys in the band are great individuals. Give them a listen, buy a CD, and go out and see them when they come through town.
Check it all out here.
