So you probably know my dad from either Brother Jones or his beautiful Keegan Jones site DJ-ART.com, but he has spawned yet a new website claiming it is easier to see his pictures in a blogger format. This proves the fact that my dad is in fact trying to take over the entire internet, one site at a time. Seriously though, check out the blogger format at his blogger site.

Just another reason the Flight of the Conchords is the best show on TV. And yes if you’ve never seen the show this is a pretty poor representation of what it looks like…

As a nice little house warming gift for the new house my parents decided to help me out with a new grill. My dad and I wandered around town and found this nice setup. I spent about 2 hours getting it all together and then turned on the gas. It’s amazing how every exploding propane tank you’ve ever seen in a movie comes to mind when you are lighting up a gas grill that you build from scratch for the first time. But surprise, it works great…

so our creative team was asked to make a training video for the entire church about what exactly we do. I know all the creatives reading this blog right now are cringing at the thought of having to do a project like that, but we decided to have fun with it. Grant Downing put the whole thing together. And yes it is supposed to look absolutely terrible. So without further ado, our tribute to crappy corporate training videos.

Sigur Ros has been one of my favorite bands for about as long as I can remember. I heard about 30 seconds of one of their songs a long time ago and I was instantly hooked. A new documentary is coming out on the band and it honestly is about the best looking trailer I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t matter if you like the band or not. You owe it to yourself to watch this trailer, and take it in.

enough threatening emails. The blog is back and we are rolling again baby. I had to take a little time off to catch back up on some freelance. I’ve learned that when I am on the internet for long periods of time I get nothing accomplished. surprise, surprise…. But we are back and man do I have some stories to tell you. So I’m currently in Cluj, Romania working with the gypsies that live in the rural areas around here. Sorry for the lack of posts this week… Internet access is not exactly the easiest thing to find in gypsy country. I wanted to post up a few pics of what I’m seeing over here. It’s always one of my favorite trips of the whole year as far as the pictures go. Gypsies are beautiful people… It’s really easy to take good photos when you start with great subjects.

This girl is amazing. I’ve taken her picture probably 50 times by now…

I tried to figure out what happened to this guy’s arm but the language barrier got in the way. Facinating picture though…

As a little sidenote…. I’m engaged to this girl. Yesssssssssss. More on that later….
